gute güte, mal wieder ein halbes wochenende mit arbeit verbracht, auch noch die der offiziellen art. so mit schlips und kragen. nicht gerade meine stärke…
aber es ergaben sich wohl einige aussichten auf berufliche veränderungen. da will man ja dann auch ersma nicht meckern.

But the only way to really appreciate Oceansize’s sound and reputation is to see their incendiary live show.

das erstlingswerk “effloresce” hat mir schon mehr als einmal die schuhe ausgezogen, es ist für mich definitiv eine der platten des jahrzehnts! hämmernde gitarrengewitter, verträumte harmonien und flächen, druckvolle beats… ein rundum extrem gänsehautverursachendes album, das förmlich nach der repeat-taste lechzt!
…kennt ihr es? das eine lied? das lied, das ihr schon tausendmal gehört habt? das zu allen begebenheiten des lebens schonmal lief; das ihr mit tausend dingen in verbindung bringt und auch wieder nicht?
also quasi das lied.
das, welches schon jahre überdauert, ohne dass ihr es jemals kaputtgehört habt? welches jedes hochgefühl und auch jeden tiefpunkt überdauerte? das lied, das beim playcounter im mp3-player oder ohne playcounter im oldschool-(muss man heute ja fast sagen)-cd-player schon jede skala gesprengt hat!? ein lied, das in der spacenight ebenjenige beendet hat. so ein lied wie das hier von dem ex-nachbarn, das könnte so eines sein. es gehört seit seiner geburt vor 2 jahren zu den stücken, die wohl immer auf platz 2 stehen, denn das lied ist eben schon alt, vielleicht abgenudelt, aber es ist für dich und es ist meins.
